We are still as busy as ever at Aspenn and this week we took a road trip to Scotland to delivery our furniture. The first delivery was to a Dundee football fan who wanted the colours of his team – black and orange. The 4 drawer cabin bed also had a canopy attached.
Next we were heading to Edinburgh with a corner desk. The white corner desk was made the perfect height for the young girl to sit at and do her homework. She loved the desk but we’re sure she won’t be as enthusiastic about her homework!
Dunfermline was next on our trip with a bookcase and 4 drawer chest. Both were made to fit the space available and the daughter has plenty of storage for her clothes and books now.
On our way back home we popped into Newcastle to deliver the bespoke grey and solid oak cabin bed. This cabin bed had a pull out desk with one drawer above.
So we’ve had a busy times here at Aspenn; with the bank holiday weekends cutting the weeks short we’ve been working hard in the shop and making deliveries where we can. Obviously making the most out of our time available and trying to be as productive as we can we’ve been able to put together a few new bespoke items for our customers, including a nice Ferrari red Bunk Bed/Wardrobe combo with a fitted desk and storage unit underneath that we’re especially proud of.
Take a look at some of the pictures from our latest trip down south!

The most recent trip for the Aspenn van, packed to the rafters, was through 25 different counties of England! We delivered to several customers and our traveling ensured we visited a lot of places all in one long day.
After being delayed on the M25 for over 1 hour, we arrived at the customer’s apartment to be welcomed by torrential rain, an out of order lift and 3 flights of stairs. After unloading all the cabin bed sections upstairs I joked “I’m surprised I didn’t have a heart attack carrying that up those stairs” to which the customer replied “don’t worry I’m a heart surgeon” which was definitely reassuring! The bed was 6inches wide (a petite double’ in a traditional finish with pewter handles).
