Do you make all furniture to order?

Yes — every piece of furniture is handmade to order in our Yorkshire workshop. All furniture is bespoke and built to your exact measurements and requirements.

Where is Aspenn Furniture based?

Aspenn Furniture is based in Thorp Arch, Wetherby, West Yorkshire, where we have our workshop and showroom. Please note: visits to our workshop

Do you deliver throughout the UK?

Yes, we offer UK-wide delivery on our freestanding furniture. Delivery and assembly costs are calculated based on your postcode.

How long does furniture take to make?

Our typical lead times are:
– 6–7 weeks for freestanding furniture
– Around 8 weeks for fitted furniture
– Approximately 4–5 weeks for bespoke vanity units
Lead times can vary slightly depending on the project.

Do you offer fitted furniture?

Yes. We design and build fitted wardrobes, fitted bedroom furniture and other made-to-measure fitted pieces designed to maximise your available space.

Can you make furniture for awkward spaces?

Absolutely. We specialise in creating furniture for awkward layouts, alcoves, stair bulkheads, small bedrooms and unusual room shapes.

What materials do you use?

We use high-quality natural woods including solid oak, pine, maple, tulip wood and redwood pine sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Can I choose the colour and finish?

Yes. We offer a wide range of painted, lacquered, waxed, stained and oiled finishes. We can also colour-match to Farrow & Ball colours.

Can I customise handles, hinges and hardware?

Yes. You can choose from a variety of handles, knobs, hinges and other finishing details to suit your style.

Do you make bespoke bathroom vanity units?

Yes. We create fully bespoke vanity units in custom sizes, colours and finishes, including oak tops, marble tops, countertop sinks and undercounter sinks.

Do you supply sinks and taps with vanity units?

No — customers supply their own sinks and taps, and Aspenn builds the vanity unit to fit your chosen specifications.

Are your vanity units suitable for bathrooms?

Yes. Our bathroom furniture is specially finished for warm and damp bathroom environments using durable waterproof paint systems and moisture-resistant materials.

Can I design my own furniture online?

Yes. Our website includes interactive “Design Your Own” forms for beds and vanity units, allowing you to choose dimensions, finishes, colours and features.

Do you offer free home visits?

Yes. For fitted furniture projects, we offer a free home visit within a 30-mile radius of our Thorp Arch workshop. There is no pressure or obligation to buy.

Can I visit your workshop?

Workshop visits to view finished orders are available by appointment. Please contact us to arrange a visit.

Will my furniture arrive assembled?

In many cases, yes. We deliver furniture personally where possible and can assemble larger items in your home.

Do you offer a guarantee?

Yes. Aspenn Furniture offers a 20-year structural guarantee on its furniture.

How do I care for my furniture?

We provide aftercare advice based on the finish of your furniture, whether painted, lacquered, waxed or oiled.

Do you make children’s bedroom furniture?

Yes. We handcraft bespoke children’s beds, cabin beds, bunk beds, wardrobes and bedroom furniture designed to maximise space and last for years.

Can your cabin beds be dismantled if we move house?

Yes. Our cabin beds are designed to be dismantled and reassembled safely. Please see this article.

Do you make bespoke size beds and mattresses?

Yes. We can create beds in custom sizes, and bespoke mattresses are available through a local supplier.

How do I get a quote?

You can contact us by phone, email or through the form on the website. We’ll discuss your ideas and provide a tailored quotation based on your requirements.

How safe is the rail on children’s beds?

Our rails are higher than most other brands of bed. We can provide an additional barrier across the front opening of cabin beds to give piece of mind until your child gains more confidence in sleeping higher up.
